Game design class is an amazing class and i love the opportunity it has given me! i mean I've learned so much, and it has provided me with a new out look on life.
My team's game is a side scrolling plat former with a topic in civics. We wanted to make a game that makes highschool students better citezens and to learn the process of how government works.
In the game the character goes back in time and meets different government leaders like Ivan the Terrible, Cleopatra, and more. In the first level however that is shown in the demo we are in the character Henry's home town and this is the level where he gets the idea to travel to ancient times to learn what government is really about.
